We are a friendly and outgoing ladies four part a Capella chorus meeting on a Tuesday 7:30pm – 10:00pm at Winterstoke Hundred Academy, Beaufighter Road, W-s-M, BS24 8EE.

1 in 14 adults in England struggle to read. Imagine what that means, when faced with a doctor’s letter, a recipe, a bus timetable, a child’s reading book or an energy bill. There are many reasons why a person reaches adulthood unable to read, but Read Easy can help them to turn their lives around.

Read Easy North Somerset offers free, one-to-one confidential reading coaching using professionally trained volunteer coaches. Sessions are conducted at the learner’s pace, with no classrooms, no exams and no pressure.

Weston 60+ singles meetup holds events for no more than 6-8 people each time, so you can talk to everyone and get to know them. Our events include a regular quiz, restaurant/pub meals, and general evening get-togethers for a drink and chat. We’re a new group started Feb 2024 and need new members.

MS Society Exercise Classes. Come and join our friendly classes where you’ll receive a warm welcome. Exercise has been found to be very beneficial for people with Multiple Sclerosis. The classes focus on improving strength, mobility, balance, flexibility and confidence.

If you are an older single in the Weston, Worle or surrounding area and looking to make new friends in a purely social environment then why not consider giving our Group a trial run?
We are a friendly local volunteer led mixed group of singles mainly in our 60’s, 70’s and even 80’s who meet at a weekly ‘Bar Night’ each Wednesday evening to socialise and to arrange events for each other to enjoy.

Come join us in the fun outdoor game of Petanque! We’re a fast growing friendly club happy to welcome new members, whether beginners or experienced players. We play at the public piste in See Monster Gardens, Beach Rd. There’s no charge to play, and only a small membership fee when you join us.

Are you less steady on your feet than you used to be? Age UK Somerset deliver an exercise class in Worle for people experiencing more advanced mobility issues. Get Strong Get Steady is a fun and friendly session, specially designed to help participants gradually build up the strength, stamina and balance to be able to progress from seated to standing exercises.
