Defibrillator Project

Defibrillator Project Launched To Save Lives In Local Community

A Project has launched to enable the installation of public access defibrillators within Weston-super-Mare. The aim of this is to fundraise for defibrillators to provide the life-saving resource to be accessible in the event of a cardiac arrest. Defibrillators are hoping to be a 3 minute walk return of each location. Active CPR and the use of a defibrillator can save lives and every minute that passes decreases the chance of survival by 10%. The project is proudly working in partnership with Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC). Email: donatefordefib.wsm@gmail.com
